🎯 The Challenge


Real Infinity War was a niche eCommerce site focused on selling Marvel and DC-themed merchandise — everything from collectibles and posters to t-shirts and accessories. The site faced tough competition from giants like Amazon and Redbubble, which made ranking product pages organically a challenge.

The goal was simple but ambitious: rank on page one (ideally at #1) for high-intent, purchase-driven keywords — and generate real revenue through organic traffic alone.

🧩 The Strategy


1. Transactional Keyword Research
I conducted extensive keyword research focused specifically on transaction-ready queries like:

  • “Buy Iron Man poster online”

  • “Batman graphic tee Canada”

  • “Avengers keychain under $10”

These keywords had strong buyer intent, moderate competition, and global appeal.


2. Product Page Optimization
Each product page was optimized to match its target keywords.
This included updating:

  • Title tags and meta descriptions

  • Product descriptions (with natural keyword placement)

  • URL structures and alt text


3. Internal Linking (Hub & Spoke Model)
I created a content structure that connected blog posts, category pages, and product pages. This helped build topical authority and gave Google better context about the relevance of each page.


4. Backlink & Guest Posting Strategy
To build domain authority, I:

  • Created backlinks from fandom blogs, niche forums, and pop culture news sites

  • Identified high-authority guest posting opportunities and submitted original content with backlinks pointing to top product collections


5. Image Optimization
Since many users search via Google Images, I optimized all product images using descriptive filenames, alt tags, and fast-loading formats — which helped RealInfinityWar.com appear in image-based search results.


6. Social Bookmarking & Page Speed
I bookmarked every major product and blog page across social bookmarking platforms to get more visibility and indexing.
Additionally, I improved page load speed, which positively impacted both rankings and bounce rates.
